This is your opportunity to step in as the Interim Principal Educational Psychologist, leading a specialist service through a crucial period of change and modernisation. You’ll provide senior strategic leadership, oversee statutory delivery, and drive a service‑wide review that will shape future redesign and improvement activity. Your Role as Interim Principal Educational Psychologist:

• Oversight & quality assurance of all statutory EP functions
• Innovation and capacity building to manage rising demand
• Lead a full service review, feeding into future structure and workforce planning
• Embed research‑led processes across assessment and intervention pathways
• Provide professional supervision and visible, steady leadership

Your Previous Experience as an Interim Principal Educational Psychologist:

• Proven leadership as a Principal EP within complex environments
• Strong understanding of SEND reforms and local authority statutory duties
• Skilled at balancing operational delivery and strategic transformation
• Track record of driving improvement and service redesign
• HCPC registration and recognised EP qualification essential
