Practice and Quality Assurance Consultant – Youth Offending Service
North London Council
3 Month Contract
£330 per day (inside IR35)
Hybrid working

Our client is seeking a high-calibre youth justice professional to support their improvement journey following a strong HMIP inspection rating (the council was rated as a ‘good’ service). You will play a key role in practice development, quality assurance, workforce training, and service transformation.

Your Role as Practice and Quality Assurance Consultant:-

• Enhance practice and quality assurance within Youth Justice Services.
• Lead service improvement initiatives and drive innovation.
• Deliver impactful training and workforce development programs.
• Establish and oversee quality assurance frameworks and compliance.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure excellence in service delivery.

Your Previous Experience as Practice and Quality Assurance Consultant:-

• Proven track record in improving Youth Offending Services.
• Strong experience in writing high-quality reports for multiple audiences.
• Expertise in evaluating practice, including case file auditing.
• Success in coordinating multi-disciplinary and partnership working.
• Experience in staff supervision, including task allocation and priority setting.
