6-month Interim Contract
Midlands – Local Authority
£350 per day
Inside IR35 (via umbrella)
Remote/ Hybrid working

We have an excellent opportunity working with a Local Authority within the Midlands as a SEND Phase Transfer Lead. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex cases as they move through key stages, working closely with children, families and care providers. You will be reporting into the SEND Manager and be adept at working through difficult, highly pressured cases to secure positive outcomes for children and families within the SEND team whilst supporting the statutory EHC service and other officers.

Your Role as Phase Transfer Lead:
 

• Contribute to the complex casework duties relating to the assessment of children and young people with complex special educational needs and disabilities.
• Production, review and maintaining of EHC plans between Key Stage.
• Lead on complex casework for children and young people.
• Liaise with multi- disciplinary agencies, parents and carers on behalf of a Midlands based Local Authority.

Your previous experience as a Phase Transfer Lead:
 

• Strong understanding and knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
• Experienced of drafting plans and making amendments to annual reviews.
• Working with highly complex, sensitive cases within an environment that requires high standards in meeting timescales.
