Initial 3-month interim contract (until permanent postholder is identified)
North-West England, full-time hybrid, average 3 days on site per week.
Up to £600 per day through FCSA Umbrella

An exciting new interim opportunity has arisen within a Local Authority in North-West England for a Head of Cared for, Care Experience and CWD.
 
My client will looking to set up interviews starting w/c 14th April, with a view to start as soon as possible after that.  
 
About your role as the Head of Service, Children’s Social Care: 

• Whilst the authority looks to appoint on a permanent basis the Authority are looking to appoint an experienced interim leader to maintain high standards of performance within the services which are currently “Good” and aiming for “Outstanding”.
• An understanding of what “Good” looks like
• Pivotal to this role is someone with a background in the services of Cared for, Care Experienced and Children With Disabilities.
• Needs to have a proven track record as a Head of Service or above
• Must be available to start before 28/4/25
