This is a standout opportunity to step into a high‑impact Interim Head of Adult Social Care Quality Assurance role at a pivotal moment of change. You will be brought in to reset, redesign and lead a quality assurance function that is transitioning from an outsourced model back in‑house. With senior visibility, a clear mandate to act and a strong focus on pace, this role offers real influence and the chance to leave a lasting legacy.

As Interim Head of Adult Social Care Quality Assurance, you will operate at both strategic and operational levels, quickly assessing risk across the provider market while putting in place a robust, credible and highly visible quality assurance approach. You will lead through complexity, set clear expectations and establish confidence in quality oversight at a time when it matters most.
 
Your role as Interim Head of Adult Social Care Quality Assurance:

• Redesigning governance and oversight to create a strong, transparent quality assurance framework
  • Leading the transition in‑house, managing workforce implications and embedding a fit‑for‑purpose structure
  • Driving proactive provider oversight, enabling quality visits and rapid response to emerging concerns
  • Clarifying risk across the market, including escalation into safeguarding where required
  • Building capability and pace, through recruitment, leadership and culture change

 
Your experience as Interim Head of Adult Social Care Quality Assurance:

• Extensive adult social care quality assurance expertise, including provider oversight
  • Proven delivery of quality frameworks, from design through to implementation
  • Strong transformation credentials, including service redesign and workforce transition
  • Credibility at senior level, able to influence, challenge and set clear direction
  • A delivery‑focused mindset, comfortable operating at pace in sensitive environments
