Are you a passionate and experienced Early Years leader ready to make a real impact?

An ambitious and forward-thinking local authority in London is seeking a dynamic Head of Nursery to lead one of its flagship settings (children 0-5 years). This is a fantastic opportunity to shape high-quality early years provision and drive excellence in a thriving community.

Location: Onsite in North London
Duration: Initial 3-month contract
Rate: Up to £400 per day (Inside IR35)
Hours: Full-time, 5 days/week (8am–4pm or 10am–6pm)

What they’re looking for:

• A recognised qualification in Early Years or Education
• Strong management experience in childcare or early years services
• Deep knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted frameworks, and safeguarding
• Confidence in leading teams and managing budgets
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Full onsite availability, with flexibility on working hours

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be at the heart of service delivery, supporting staff, children, and families while ensuring the nursery meets the highest standards.
