Reporting into the Assistant Director of Property Services, you will be responsible for leading on capital programmes delivering improvements to the Borough’s homes worth over £49m. Managing 4 direct reports you will oversee every stage of delivery—concept, strategy, construction, and completion. You will be innovative accountable, and collaborate, ensuring residents’ needs and aspirations shape the projects we deliver.
 
Your Role as Head of Capital Projects:

•  Lead a talented team, embedding a culture of co-design, transparency, and responsibility.
• Oversee every stage of delivery from concept to completion, ensuring projects meet high standards.
• Deliver meaningful engagement with residents and stakeholders, ensuring their needs shape the projects.
• Drive progress with innovative solutions that meet the borough’s sustainability goals.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the defined quality.

 
Your previous experience as Head of Capital Projects:
 

• Proven track record in capital project delivery, ideally in the public or regulated sectors.
• Experience in Housing Associations (HA) and regulated environments.
• Strong expertise in construction management, customer and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience overseeing significant housing estate projects in excess of 49 million.
