An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a large Local Authority into the South West of England.
 
You will:

• Lead on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.
• Provide expert financial advice to senior leaders, driving performance and value for money.
• Manage and develop a team of accountants.
• Oversee treasury management, capital strategy, risk, and insurance.

 
We are looking for someone who is:

• A qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Skilled at influencing and advising at senior level.
• Experienced in managing large budgets and financial systems.
• A strong leader who can motivate and develop teams.
