As a Programme Manager, you will sit at the heart of a critical transformation programme, working closely with senior leadership and reporting into the SRO, driving forward meaningful change across Children’s Services. This Programme Manager role offers you the opportunity to lead complex workstreams, shape governance, and bring structure, clarity, and pace to a programme that truly matters.

Your role as Programme Manager:
• Lead workstream coordination across complex programme activity
• Manage and escalate risks, issues, and interdependencies to senior leadership
• Drive programme governance and support key strategic meetings
• Deliver clear, impactful reporting and updates to the SRO
• Collaborate across directorates to enable transformational change

Your experience as Programme Manager:
• Proven delivery of complex transformation programmes within a local authority or similar environment
• Strong expertise in project methodologies and tools (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile)
• Demonstrable experience managing risk, governance, and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to build and maintain relationships at all organisational levels
• A track record of driving change and improving outcomes within services
