CV’s are being reviewed immediately and interviews will be taking place week commencing ASAP. 

Reporting into the Senior Estates Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing property portfolios, including valuation, lease negotiation, rent review, property acquisition, and disposal.

Your role as Estates Surveyor:

• Act independently and proactively to take cases forward and achieve objectives.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to secure favourable outcomes.
• Prepare business cases to deliver financially sustainable property solutions aligned with the council’s priorities.
• Draft heads of terms and coordinate with legal teams on transfers, sales, leases, and collaborative agreements, including Joint Ventures.

 
Your previous experience as Estates Surveyor: 

• Qualified MRICS or equivalent.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Property Management, Landlord & Tenant (L&T) matters, valuation, and general property experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Local Authority experience
