EHCP Casework Officer
4-month interim contract

South West England – Fully Remote
£250-£280 per day

Inside IR35 (via umbrella)

CV’s are being reviewed immediately and interviews will be taking place week commencing 4th August for an August start.

Reporting into the Senior SEND Officer, you will be working alongside a team of four other SEN Case Officers within a large SEN Service. To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 18 months’ experience as a SEN Case Officer within a local authority setting.

Your Role as EHCP Casework Officer:

  • Writing, drafting, and amending EHCP’s.
  • To carry out the casework associated with the statutory assessment process.
  • To support children and young people and their parents and carers and schools involved in the statutory assessment process.
  • To ensure equality of opportunity for all children and to maintain good communication links with parents, other services and agencies.

Your previous experience as a EHCP Casework Officer:

  • Must have previous experience within SEND, including SEN, EHCP, drafting plans, casework, annual reviews.
  • Expert knowledge on SEND code of practise background.
  • Experience of managing a case load of 200+
  • Understanding of the tribunal process
