Educational Psychologist – Local Authority (South East England) – Outside IR35

A Local Authority in the South East of England is looking for an experienced Educational Psychologist to support their service on an interim basis.

This role requires face‑to‑face assessments, so you’ll need to be able to travel into the area. In return, the authority can offer outside IR35 working arrangements, giving you flexibility and autonomy over your assignment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Completing high‑quality psychological assessments
• Providing clear, evidence‑based advice for EHCPs
• Working directly with children, young people, families, and schools
• Supporting the service with statutory and non‑statutory work
• Contributing to positive outcomes across the SEND pathway

What they’re looking for:

• HCPC‑registered Educational Psychologist
• Experience working within UK Local Authorities
• Confident delivering face‑to‑face assessments
• Strong communication and report‑writing skills
