I’m working with a Local Authority that’s looking for a EHCP Coordinators and Project Officers to join their SEND service.
You’ll lead and manage statutory assessment and planning processes for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), working closely with families, providers, and practitioners to improve outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include drafting EHCPs, coordinating multi-agency input, and promoting strengths-based, person-centred approaches across all casework.
About the EHCP Coordinator role:

  • Lead and manage statutory EHCP assessments and planning
  • Work in partnership with parents, children, and professionals to ensure effective delivery
  • Promote strengths-based, person-centred approaches in all casework
  • Support quality assurance and evidence-based decision-making
  • Ensure consistency and accountability across the statutory process
  • Contribute to service improvement and team development

About you as an EHCP Coordinator:

  • Proven experience in SEND, including drafting EHCPs and managing complex casework
  • Strong understanding of statutory SEND frameworks and multi-agency working
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Committed to improving outcomes for children and young people
  • Fluent in English (as required under Part 7 of the Immigration Act for customer-facing roles)
  • Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about service improvement
