If you’re excited by the opportunity to take ownership of high‑value asset disposals and drive meaningful impact from day one, this Disposals Surveyor role will give you the platform to do exactly that. Reporting directly into the Disposals Programme Manager, you’ll be the professional voice and lead authority on your own caseload of surplus property assets, shaping disposal strategy, influencing senior decision‑makers, and ensuring every transaction you deliver stands up to full audit scrutiny. Your Role as Disposals Surveyor:
• Programme Delivery – you will lead end‑to‑end disposal activity from initial instruction through to completion.
• Valuation & Strategy – you will prepare expert disposal strategies, valuation advice and clear recommendations for senior officers.
• Negotiation – you will negotiate confidently with purchasers, developers and agents to secure best consideration.
• Governance & Compliance – you will ensure all activity meets statutory duties and stands up to full audit requirements.
• Stakeholder Management – you will handle sensitive disposals with diplomacy, political awareness and clear communication.
 
Your Experience as a Disposals Surveyor:
• MRICS/FRICS qualification with strong technical grounding in valuation and disposals.
• Proven experience managing freehold disposal programmes in a public sector or regulated environment.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret legal documents, resolve title issues and understand planning impacts.
• Excellent communicator with confidence advising senior stakeholders and managing external partners.
• Organised and results‑driven, capable of managing multiple projects while delivering compliant, well‑evidenced outcomes.
