You’ll join a dynamic integrated commissioning team as the Commissioning Manager – Live Well, playing a pivotal role in stabilising and driving forward a refreshed workplan for MLHDA services. Reporting to the Head of Integrated Commissioning, you’ll work across council and ICB colleagues, oversee a critical portfolio, and ensure services remain resilient and well‑governed. You’ll be right at the heart of transformation -strengthening provider relationships, contributing to key system processes, and ensuring people receiving specialist support experience safe, high‑quality, sustainable provision. Your Role as Commissioning Manager:

Lead commissioning activity across MLHDA services, supported housing and residential provision
Strengthen contracts & governance, ensuring providers meet quality, safety and financial expectations
Support system responses to provider failure, service risks and market fragility
Drive partnership working across council, ICB, voluntary sector and place‑based groups
Oversee key pathways, including DSR/CTR processes, joint‑funded arrangements and S117 cases
Your experience as a Commissioning Manager:
• Strong background in adult social care or health commissioning, ideally with MLHDA experience
• Proven ability to stabilise services, manage provider performance and navigate complex markets
• Experience using contract management, quality assurance and governance frameworks
• Skilled relationship builder across internal teams, providers and system partners
• Confident working within integrated or multi‑agency environments with competing pressures
