Children’s Registered Home Manager
Full-time – 6 months

£500 per day umbrella (negotiable)

Following the promotion of the current postholder, this is a fantastic opportunity in a newly refurbished and Good children’s home for a leader to maintain the high standards of practice set. Our client is also open to individuals wishing to consider temporary to permanent opportunities!

About your role as Children’s Registered Home Manager:

  • An exciting 6 month initial contract for a large 4 bed home for Adolescent boys.
  • This role will benefit from a leader with strong transformation skills as it’s in the process closing for refurbishment and transformation to a high performing short breaks provision.
  • The leader coming in will need to have a high level of experience in Children’s Residential to nurture the permanent leadership team and promote a positive culture and home environment
  • Service improvement experience will desirable for this home with robust knowledge of regulation and Ofsted inspection.

Your Experience Needed as the Children’s Registered Home Manager:

  • Must have a Level 5 Children’s Home Management or equivalent qualification.
  • Significant, senior-level experience of managing a children’s home, including a full range of people management and change management.
  • Direct involvement in Ofsted Inspections.
  • Knowledge of Children’s Social Care Regulation 28.
  • Preference for candidates who have worked in homes with children with disabilities.
  • Evidence of partnership working and proven ability in identifying and maintaining purposeful networks and collaborative arrangements.
