As Capital Programme Delivery Manager, you will report into the Head of Property Services, lead a team of six and take ownership of a complex, multi‑million‑pound capital works programme at a pivotal moment of delivery and change.

Your Role as Capital Programme Delivery Manager:

  • Strategic leadership of a large‑scale Capital Works Programme, ensuring quality, compliance and value for money
  • Deputising at Head of Service level, supporting strategic planning, governance and budget control
  • Commercial oversight of partnering contracts, consultants and delivery partners
  • Risk‑based prioritisation of asset management and capital investment programmes
  • Resident‑focused delivery, embedding standards that enhance neighbourhoods and long‑term sustainability

 
Your previous experience as Capital Programme Delivery Manager:

  • Senior leadership experience delivering results through teams and partners in a comparable role
  • Proven management of multi‑million‑pound capital contracts, ideally within housing
  • Strong commercial judgement, appraising cost, outcomes and risk with confidence
  • A track record of service improvement, culture change and performance delivery
  • Ability to operate strategically, while remaining hands‑on where it matters
