Are you an experienced Children’s Services Business Analyst looking to make an immediate impact on a high-profile transformation programme within Children’s Services? This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in implementing a new operating model, working closely with service teams and senior stakeholders to review, redesign, and improve critical operational processes. You will have the opportunity to influence service delivery, drive consistency, and support meaningful change that improves outcomes across frontline services. Your Role as Children’s Services Business Analyst:

• Lead end-to-end process mapping across Children’s Services, including referral pathways, procedures, and business support functions
• Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to capture current-state processes and define future-state operating models
• Identify gaps, duplication, inefficiencies, and risks, producing clear improvement recommendations
• Develop detailed operational documentation and future-state process designs to support implementation activities
• Drive service improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, consistency, and overall service delivery

Your Previous Experience as Children’s Services Business Analyst:

• Proven track record delivering process mapping, business analysis, and operational redesign within complex organisations
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to engage teams at all levels
• Experience gathering requirements, conducting gap analysis, and supporting large-scale change and transformation programmes
• Knowledge of Lean, Service Design, Agile, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
• Exposure to Children’s Services, Social Care, SEND, local government, or public sector environments would be highly advantageous
