About the Building Control Surveyor role:

  • Conduct site inspections, examine plans, and manage a varied caseload of Building Regulations submissions
  • Provide guidance to applicants, architects, builders, and stakeholders on design, compliance, and project fees.
  • Promote Building Control services to clients and partners, contributing to increased market share and service income.
  • Work across a range of complex and varied construction projects, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, and maintaining the highest professional standards.

Your previous experience as a Building Control Surveyor:

  • To operate as a Class 2 Registered Building Inspector, up to and including Category E
  • Completed a Building Engineering, Building Surveying or other (relevant) construction related degree.
  • Be a Full member of CABE, RICS, CIOB, IStructE or ICE
  • Extensive experience of Building Control within a Local Authority.
