I’m working with two Local Authorities that urgently need to find an Interim Assessments Officer and Annual Review Officer

London based Local Authority

Role: Interim Assessments Officer
Start Date:  August 2025
Day Rate: Up to £290 p/day (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: Initial 3 months
Working Pattern: Remote/Hybrid – 1 day/week in-office
Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory assessment framework
  • Proven experience within a local authority SEND team or educational setting
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage complex processes
  • Competence in handling sensitive information and maintaining detailed case records

 
 London based Local Authority
Role: Interim Annual Review Officer
Start Date: August 2025
Contract Length: Initial 4 months  
Day Rate: £340 p/day (Inside IR35)
Working Pattern: Remote/Hybrid – 2 days/week in-office
Requirements:

  • Solid experience within a local authority SEND team or equivalent setting
  • Expertise in EHCP annual reviews and the statutory amendment process
  • Confidence to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with families and multi-agency teams
