Annual Review Officers – Backlog Project
Remote Working
£260-£280 per day – Inside IR35
3–6 Month initial contract

We are seeking experienced Annual Review Officers to support a dedicated project focused on clearing a significant backlog of annual reviews. This is an excellent opportunity for strong practitioners who can work efficiently, confidently, and autonomously within statutory SEND processes.

About the Role
As an Annual Review Officer, you will:

• Lead on completing and processing annual reviews within statutory timescales.
• Work through a backlog of cases with accuracy, pace, and strong attention to detail
• Liaise with schools, families, and professionals to gather and verify required information.
• Ensure all documentation is compliant with SEND legislation and local authority procedures.
• Update systems, records, and case notes to a high standard.
• Contribute to improved service performance and timely outcomes for children and young people.

What We’re Looking For
To be successful, you will need:

• Proven experience as an Annual Review Officer
• A strong track record of clearing backlogs or managing high-volume workloads.
• Excellent understanding of SEND processes, legislation, and statutory requirements. • Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with partners.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
