Baltimore Consulting have endorsed a consultative approach to the public and third sector, fulfilling Local Authorities’ hiring requirements and supporting vulnerable subject areas such as Mental Health, SEN & Safeguarding Adults and Children since their inception in 2013.

Charmaine successfully completed a management buyout last year, paying Opus Talent Solutions £1.4million to obtain 100% ownership of the business. Since then, Baltimore Consulting have gone from strength-to-strength and recognition for this has been incredible.

Charmaine Vincent, owner and CEO, said:

“I’ve always been extremely passionate about inspiring others to be the best version of themselves and my recognition is received through my staff and their ongoing development. That said, winning the IoD South West SME Director of the Year award and now being named as a finalist at the national awards really is a huge milestone in my career. I’m extremely humbled and proud of what myself and my team have achieved, so to receive such prestigious recognition really is the icing on the cake.”

The finalists were chosen from the hundreds of Directors that entered into one of the 11 heats across the UK in 14 different categories. Based in Bristol, Charmaine was awarded the SME Director of the Year in the South West region which is an amazing achievement in its own right.

The expert judging panel will now convene to decide the overall winners to be announced at the awards ceremony on Friday 18th October 2019 at The Brewery.

Charlotte Valeur, Chair of the Institute of Directors, said:

“In this time of great change for business and society enterprising and responsible leadership has never been more important. These are the qualities that Director of the Year award finalists embody, and it is a privilege to be able to give these individuals the recognition they deserve. Congratulations to all of those who have made it to this stage, you provide us with confidence in the ongoing strength of the UK’s director community.”
