Baltimore Consulting crowned Best Business at the Best Business Women Awards 2023

What a week! The team here at Baltimore Consulting are delighted to announce that Charmaine Vincent and Baltimore Consulting have won the Best Business category at this year’s Best Business Women Awards.

Charmaine and the team are incredibly proud to be recognised by such a prestigious accolade. The business climate has continued to test the resilience of entrepreneurs, and these awards recognise determined women that have continued to drive their businesses forwards.

At Baltimore Consulting, we’re different, we care, we give back, we invest, and we are thought leaders around celebrating difference and showing vulnerability. This is what sets us aside. When we deny our stories, they define us. When we own our stories, we get to write a brave new ending.

Despite adversity, we have been true to who we are and changed the lives of so many within the community in the process.

At Baltimore Consulting, our mantra is “empowered to be authentic and achieve great things,” and this is something that shines through our business.

Women now own 36% of small businesses and the rate of growth of women in business has been 4.2% in the last 12 years. There is still a long way to go, and Charmaine is an advocate for women in business, fighting in the corner of gender equality. Not only does she run a successful Public Sector recruitment company boasting a 60:40 female to male split, but she is being recognised for her successes, winning accolades above her male counterparts and making waves in the industry.

The judging panel were impressed by the creativity, tenacity and excellent business acumen demonstrated in the selected finalists. The Best Businesswomen Awards are designed to recognise the achievement of female entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries. All of whom are excelling in their chosen field,

Debbie Gilbert, the organiser of The Best Businesswomen Awards, said “This is the 9th year of these prestigious awards, and despite extremely difficult trading conditions businesses have faced over the past few years these businesswomen have powered forwards. Our judging panel, all business experts, were impressed by the quality of the entrants. All our finalists are all shining examples of being successful entrepreneurs who have proved their success to our judges.”

The Gala Final was held at the Hilton Wembley on 22nd September 2023. This win comes off the back of Baltimore’s Employer of the Year award win at the Business Leader Awards on the 21st September.

Our story is truly unique, and we are proud of that. It’s part of our DNA.
