Are you an experienced Commercial Property Surveyor looking for your next interim assignment? This is an opportunity to take ownership of a diverse commercial estate comprising approximately 300 income-generating assets, delivering professional property management services across a portfolio generating £7.5m in annual revenue.
 
As a Commercial Property Surveyor, you will play a key role in protecting and enhancing asset performance through valuations, lease negotiations, rent reviews and strategic property advice. You will have the autonomy to manage a varied caseload while working alongside legal, property and regeneration teams on high-profile transactions and projects.

Your Role as Commercial Property Surveyor:

• Manage a varied commercial property portfolio including retail, office, industrial and investment assets
  • Undertake property valuations, rent reviews and lease renewals, negotiating the best outcomes for the estate
  • Lead on acquisitions, disposals, lettings and lease negotiations across a range of property interests
  • Negotiate easements, wayleaves, licences and rights of way, ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently
  • Prepare reports, business cases and recommendations to support strategic property and asset management decisions

 
Your Previous Experience as Commercial Property Surveyor:

• Membership of RICS with relevant post-qualification experience, or significant equivalent commercial property experience
  • Proven background managing a commercial property portfolio and landlord and tenant matters
  • Strong experience undertaking valuations, rent reviews, lease renewals and property disposals
  • Experience working within a complex organisation, ideally within the public sector or a similarly regulated environment
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and report-writing skills with a commercial mindset

 
This Commercial Property Surveyor contract offers the chance to work on a broad range of property matters while contributing to the effective management and future direction of a substantial commercial estate. The successful Commercial Property Surveyor will be joining a busy team and will be expected to make an immediate contribution from day one.
