As the Energy Manager, you will report into the Sustainability Policy Manager and lead a specialist Energy Team, driving forward ambitious energy and carbon reduction programmes across a complex public-sector environment. This is your opportunity as an Energy Manager to influence strategy, shape policy, and deliver tangible cost and carbon savings whilst managing budgets, partnerships and large-scale projects. Your role as Energy Manager:

• Lead energy strategy, policy development and decarbonisation programmes across the estate
• Drive delivery of energy efficiency, renewables and carbon reduction initiatives
• Oversee Salix funding, budgets and commercial project management
• Build and influence key partnerships, stakeholders and energy suppliers
• Coordinate energy data, reporting, compliance and performance monitoring

Your previous experience as an Energy Manager:

• Strong background in energy management, utilities or sustainability programmes
• Proven project and programme delivery across complex organisations
• Experience managing budgets, procurement and supplier contracts
• Demonstrated ability in stakeholder engagement and influencing senior leaders
• Track record of leading teams and delivering measurable performance outcomes
