As Programme Manager, you will be trusted with end‑to‑end accountability for a significant portfolio of capital projects, shaping how major assets are delivered, improved and future‑proofed.

You will be reporting into a senior leadership team, influencing strategic decisions and steering multi‑disciplinary teams through challenge, complexity and change.

This role places you at the centre of a major transformation agenda. You will be responsible for driving a multi‑year programme of new builds, refurbishments and strategic improvements, balancing time, cost, quality and risk while keeping stakeholders aligned and confident. With large budgets under your control and multiple delivery partners relying on your leadership, you will play a critical role in turning ambition into reality. Your Role as Programme Manager:

  • Leading a complex capital programme from inception to completion
  • Owning programme governance, reporting, risk and performance frameworks
  • Managing multi‑million‑pound budgets, forecasts and business cases
  • Driving procurement and commissioning strategies across design and construction
  • Providing strategic leadership to multi‑disciplinary teams and external partners

Your previous experience as Programme Manager:

  • Proven delivery of large‑scale capital programmes within property, construction or infrastructure
  • Strong background in programme leadership, stakeholder management and influence at senior level
  • Demonstrable experience of public sector procurement and contract management (NEC/JCT)
  • High level of financial and commercial acumen across complex programmes
  • A strategic mindset with a passion for innovation, sustainability and continuous improvement
