You will step into the role of Technical Surveyor at a crucial time, taking ownership of building services workstreams that directly impact major revenue and capital programmes. Reporting into senior management, you’ll be the go‑to expert for all building surveying matters — from diagnosing complex defects to shaping planned maintenance strategies to delivering small capital projects. Your role as Technical Surveyor:
•Lead on building services delivery across revenue and capital programmes
•Develop and implement planned, cyclical and reactive maintenance strategies
•Provide expert technical advice on maintaining, improving and developing property
•Deliver the full range of building surveying services, including surveys, feasibility and options appraisals
•Produce detailed specifications, drawings and contract documentation and oversee works on site
Your experience as a Technical Surveyor:
•Strong background in building surveying across maintenance and small capital projects
•Proven ability to deliver technical inspections, diagnostics and reporting
•Experience managing HVAC, electrical, structural or fabric‑related projects
•Confident preparing planning/building control submissions
•Comfortable supervising contractors and ensuring quality and compliance on site
