You’ll step into an exciting opportunity as a Team Manager, leading a dedicated Looked After Children team and driving high‑quality social work practice. You’ll oversee cases, guide a skilled workforce, manage a service-critical budget, and shape service improvements that make a genuine impact. Your role as Team Manager:
• Lead and manage the Looked After Children team, ensuring exceptional service delivery
• Allocate, monitor and audit cases, ensuring compliance with legislation and performance standards
• Oversee delegated budgets, using resources efficiently and strategically
• Provide supervision, guidance and performance management to your team
• Drive service development, improvement and training initiatives
Your experience as a Team Manager:
• Proven experience in Children’s Social Care at Senior Practitioner level or above
• Strong background in child protection, legislation and evidence‑based practice
• Skilled in leadership, supervision and staff development
• Confident managing performance, quality assurance and outcomes
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver high‑quality decisions at pace
