We are seeking a Compliance Programme Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of the Council’s Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) programme and all related remedial works.

You’ll manage planning, contractor performance, access and recovery, data accuracy, reporting, and stakeholder/tenant communication to ensure full five‑year cycle compliance and strong governance.

 

About the Compliance Programme Manager role:

  • Coordinate teams and contractors to deliver inspections and remedials on time and to quality.
  • Prioritise high‑risk areas and develop recovery plans for no‑access properties.
  • Chair weekly progress meetings and monthly programme boards.
  • Oversee procurement, contract management, KPIs, SLAs, and performance escalations.
  • Produce dashboards and reports for senior leaders and Members.
  • Manage budgets, forecast spend, and track variations.
  • Lead tenant‑focused communications and ensure inclusive, clear messaging.

 

Your previous experience as a Compliance Manager:

  • Strong programme management experience in housing, compliance, or asset services.
  • Contract/supplier management with KPIs and performance improvement.
  • Confident stakeholder and tenant‑focused communication.
  • Solid governance, reporting, and data analysis capability.
  • Knowledge of electrical compliance in social housing (policy level).
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement and NEC/JCT contracts.

 

Qualifications

  • PRINCE2, APM PMQ, or similar (desirable)
  • Electrical qualification (advantageous)
