You’ll step into a pivotal leadership role as the SEND Team Manager, driving high‑quality SEND services that genuinely transform outcomes for children, young people and their families. You’ll oversee specialist teams, lead service improvements, shape strategic development and take responsibility for ensuring statutory compliance at every level. Your Role as SEND Team Manager:
Lead & inspire SEND professionals to deliver exceptional support
• Oversee complex caseloads and ensure high‑quality casework standards
• Drive service improvement, policy development and strategic planning
• Provide expert professional advice and represent the service when required
• Ensure safeguarding, compliance and continuous performance improvement

Your Experience as a SEND Team Manager:
• Proven leadership experience within statutory SEND services (minimum 1 year)
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, standards and best practice
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, performance and caseload quality
• Skilled in multi‑agency partnership working
• Confident handling complex, sensitive or high‑risk situations
