We’re working with a progressive North London Local Authority to recruit a SEN Coordinator who will play a vital role in supporting both the Statutory Assessment Team and the Pre-14 Annual Review Team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to make a real impact in the lives of children and young people with SEND.

As a SEN Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for delivering statutory SEND functions in line with the Children & Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice 2015, ensuring timely and effective Education, Health and Care (EHC) assessments and Annual Reviews for children aged 0–14 years. You will also draft and amend EHCPs, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and of the highest quality.

Key Experience Needed:-

  • Previous experience as a SEND Case Coordinator within a Local Authority (essential).
  • Strong understanding of statutory SEND processes and legislation.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with schools, colleges, health services, and other agencies.
