Team Managers – Children’s Front Door & Locality 
North England – Hybrid 2/3 days per week
3 month interim role
Up to £45.74 per hour – Inside IR35
 
We’re looking for a couple of  experienced Team Managers to lead a statutory social work team and help drive high‑quality, evidence‑informed practice across the district.

The role will involve:

  • Supervising and managing Social Workers and Community Resource Workers
  • Chairing multi‑agency meetings and ensuring coordinated planning
  • Allocating cases and ensuring SMART, outcome‑focused plans
  • Monitoring performance and meeting local/national targets
  • Quality‑assuring assessments, plans and case records
  • Leading on recruitment, performance and staff development
  • Ensuring statutory requirements and policies are met
  • Providing critical reflection and decision‑making in complex cases
  • Working collaboratively with partners and contributing to service improvement
  • Managing delegated budgets

 
What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, BA Hons or equivalent)
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Strong background in statutory children’s social care
  • Experience supervising or managing staff
  • Confident in performance management and quality assurance
  • Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills
  • Enhanced DBS required
