Reporting into the Senior Strategic Asset Manager you will be responsible for leading key asset and development projects, driving strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

About the Strategic Asset Manager role:

• Lead of Disposals Programme for the council
• Oversee portfolio categorisation within data management systems, ensuring assets are classified as core, flex, or tail.
• Provide strategic asset management support for key operational buildings.
• Manage consultants and drive feasibility studies for a large-scale depot use review.

About the Strategic Asset Manager role:

• Data-Driven Decision Making – Strong ability to analyse and utilise property data to shape strategy.
• Financial Modelling – Understanding of financial analysis in property development.
• Consultant Management – Experience overseeing feasibility studies and external consultants.
• Asset experience within a Local Authority
