We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated EHCP Case Officer to join a London based Local Authorities Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team.
 
As an EHCP Case Officer, you will:

  • Act as the named officer for children, young people, and their families, providing clear advice and guidance on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Manage a varied caseload, ensuring statutory processes are followed within required timescales.
  • Coordinate and attend annual reviews, including complex and transition cases, ensuring EHCPs are accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with schools, providers, professionals, and other local authorities to secure appropriate provision.
  • Maintain accurate records and make effective use of SEND databases and systems.

 
We are looking for someone with:

  • A sound knowledge of SEND legislation and EHCP processes.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with families and professionals.
  • Experience of managing a busy caseload with accuracy and attention to detail.
