Are you an experienced Service Manager – Children with Disabilities looking for an opportunity where you can make a real impact from day one? Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of a broad and high-profile portfolio covering Children with Disabilities, Occupational Therapy, Family Help and Safeguarding services. This is an excellent opportunity for a Service Manager – Children with Disabilities who is looking to broaden their strategic leadership experience whilst driving service improvement across multiple areas.

You will join a well-established service with experienced management teams in place, allowing you to focus on strengthening Children with Disabilities provision, transition planning and support for children with neurodiverse needs. If you’re a Service Manager – Children with Disabilities who enjoys leading change, influencing strategy and delivering outcomes for children and families, this could be the ideal next assignment.

Your Role as Service Manager – Children with Disabilities:
• Lead and oversee Children with Disabilities, Occupational Therapy, Family Help and Safeguarding services
• Drive improvements in transition planning and pathways into adulthood
• Provide strategic leadership for services supporting children with neurodiverse needs
• Lead operational performance, service development and quality improvement activity
• Work closely with senior leaders and experienced managers to deliver positive outcomes for children and families

Your Previous Experience as a Service Manager – Children with Disabilities:
• Significant leadership experience within Children with Disabilities Services
• Strong understanding of transition services and preparation for adulthood pathways
• Experience overseeing Safeguarding, Child Protection, Children in Need or long-term social work services
• Ability to provide both strategic leadership and effective operational management
• Proven track record of delivering results within a Local Authority setting
