In your role as a Tribunal Officer, you will be working within the SEN Tribunals team.
 
In order to be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record working as a Tribunal Officer within a local authority setting, along with experience of presenting at appeals and a good knowledge of SEN/D.
 
The role of the Tribunal Officer is to represent the Council in SEND Tribunal appeals. This will include:-

  • Considering appeals
  • Drafting the LA’s response to appeals
  • Preparing and collating evidence
  • Liaising with witnesses and representing the Council at final hearings
  • Liaison and advice with locality SENAR teams

The Tribunal Officer will be supported by business support officers.

Interviews to take place week commencing 20th June.
