Team Manager for Learning Disabilities and Transitions

Interviews are set to take place W/C 2nd December. 

Reporting into the Head of Service you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Transitions team. 

About the Team Manager for Transitions:  

• Overseeing assessments for Social Workers and Senior Social Workers 
• Day to day running of the team including 3 direct reports 
• Deputise for Head of Service when needed 
• Conduct supervisions, dealing with backlogs and complex cases 
• Lots of partnerships working across multi-disciplinary teams

 
Your previous experience as a Team Manager for Transitions: 

• Registered Social Worker 
• Ideally have Transitions or Learning Disabilities
• Excellent written and oral communication 
• Able to come in and hit the ground running. 

 
You must have Learning disabilities experience within a Local Authority to be considered for this role.
