My client is looking for interim cover for a Service Manager post covering the frontdoor service, as the current postholder is set to leave next month.

The client is looking for an experienced front door manager, with extensive demonstrable operational experience in Assessment, MASH and Initial Point of Contact, preferably with a track record of improving services or working in a Good or Outstanding OFSTED rated council.

You will be responsible for improving conversion rates of the caseloads coming in to the service, therefore you will need to have experience of diagnosing areas of the service where improvements can be made.  This includes demonstrable experience of reducing thresholds.  In short, the role is mainly focused on operational and practice development to drive the service towards a good OFSTED standard, therefore you must be able to lead from the front and bring an assessment team along with you.

This role reports to the Head of Children’s Social Care and will act as project support for the service to establish development areas for the service and new management in the future.  The client has asked for strong references to support your application otherwise you will not be considered for the role.
