Job Title: Senior HR Business Partner
Interim: 6 months - potential extension
Local Authority - West London
Full Time: Immediate Start
Pay: £400- £450 p/day - Inside of IR35

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Partner looking to join a busy HR team in the South East region (Home Counties - West). The successful HR Business Partner will be providing senior and strategic HR support to the greater council, liaising with newly structured directorates that have been split into 3 divisions.

As the successful Business Partner, you will:
• Acting as the main point of contact for the directorates
• Reviewing and challenging directorates in the development and execution of HR strategies that are relevant to their individual needs complementary to the overarching Strategy for the Council.
• Develop close working relationships with senior managers and lead officers across the wider HR/OD Functions
• Responsible for identifying, commissioning and delivering strategic interventions and tactical HR support to enable Directorates to succeed with their business objectives.
• Take the HR lead in regards to corporate working parties and project teams
• Provide advice, guidance and challenge to line management on organisation design and structure to facilitate the formulation of change plans from a HR and business perspective
• Drive the people elements of the operational business plans alongside service managers through the development of the Directorate Workforce Plans
• Identify key workforce requirements in relation to the resourcing, development and capability requirements of the business both now and in the future, ensuring that outputs are fed back into HR internal business planning process

The council have specified that previous experience in a local authority will be essential to complete these tasks effectively.
