About your role as Procurement/Category Manager:

 

  • Line management of procurement staff
  • Development of procurement and contracts management strategies
  • Risk / opportunity identification
  • Ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023
  • Innovate towards delivery of key objectives

 

About you as a Procurement/Category Manager::

 

  • Experience within a local authority or similar organisation
  • Detailed knowledge of public sector procurement regulations across multiple category areas
  • Experience preparing relevant tender documentation
  • Chartered Institute of Procurement professional qualification or significant relevant experience
  • Experience with e-procurement software
