£220 to £260 per day

The Role

My client an NHS Trust based in London is looking for an experienced NHS Quality and Pharmaceutical Professional to provide oversight across Quality Assurance activities, liaising with internal and external partners and managing the Quality Management System.

This is an exciting opportunity to define current processes, encourage discussions and advise colleagues on best practice.

Key responsibilities include:
• Manage quality assurance activities and scheduling.
• Be responsible for the fitness for purpose of all starting materials and finished products when released by the Release Officers.
• Ensure framework and governance system is in place to manage the quality of products.
• Work with the Head of Quality on product improvement projects.

The successful candidate will be / have:
• Experience in ICH along with all regulatory guidelines.
• Demonstrable experience of managing staff, ensuring high performance.
• Knowledge of EU and UK law relating to manufacture (Edralex Volume 4, MHRA Q&A to manufactures etc.)
• Understanding of the principles of GMP and QA in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of COSHH.
• Degree in Pharmaceutical or Chemistry / relevant biological science.
