We are expanding our housing development and regeneration capacity and are looking for a proactive professional who thrives in the early stages of project creation. With an increasing pipeline of estate‑based redevelopment opportunities, we need someone who can take ownership of initiating, scoping, and shaping new housing schemes from day one.

This isn’t a “business as usual” role. You’ll be at the very front end of the development process, spotting opportunities, consulting communities, shaping feasibility work, and preparing projects to be handed over to delivery teams. If you enjoy the building phase of regeneration work, this is for you.
 
About the Housing Supply Schemes Co-ordinator Role

• Identify and assess potential regeneration and in‑fill sites across the housing estate portfolio, carrying out initial feasibility checks and commissioning surveys, costings, and concept layouts.
• Lead early-stage engagement with residents, councillors, partners and internal stakeholders. You’ll shape proposals based on feedback and ensure all consultation requirements are met.
• Coordinate viability work, prepare early business case documents, and ensure projects have the evidence and governance needed to progress.
• Work with planning, housing management, legal, finance, and sustainability colleagues to align projects with policy, risk, and delivery requirements.
• Procure architects, surveyors, valuers, and other specialists as needed to develop early project options.
• Once a scheme reaches RIBA Stage 1–2 maturity, you’ll hand the project over to the Capital Delivery Team to take forward through planning, procurement and construction.

 
Your previous experience as a Housing Supply Schemes Co-ordinator:

• You understand how to create development opportunities from challenging sites within existing estates.
• You’re confident running resident consultations and navigating political and community sensitivities.
• You can manage feasibility appraisals, early‑stage design inputs, and evidence gathering.
• You understand local authority processes, procurement rules, and risk management at the initiation stage.
• You’re comfortable steering multiple stakeholders toward a clear development direction.

 
You will be joining at a critical point, helping shape the future supply of new council homes and supporting wider neighbourhood regeneration ambitions.
