I am partnering with a large Acute NHS Trust in the North West of England who is looking for support of a Register General Nurse for a 6 month initial assignment, which could potentially extend. This will be to support the division of ED whilst they are out for the permanent recruitment to the post.
Your duties as the Head of Nursing:
Work with line management to put a clear plan of action in place to deliver against the targets of the division
Responsible for the effectiveness of professional leadership and development of nursing within the Division
Providing confident leadership, and provide the reassurance and ability to implement and react to the business needs
Ensure that the culture within the team moves to a outcomes focussed more progressive function
Ability to deliver high quality holistic care with an emphasis on working in partnership with patients and their families
Extensive knowledge working within the Division of ED
Experience needed as the Head of Nursing:
Strong leadership experience – with experience of implementing change where required
Ability to hit the ground running and oversee a large division of 110 staff
Preferably from an Adults or Pediatric background however strong leadership is at the forefront when considering a suitable candidate
Possess the ability to work in collaboration with other leaders to drive the division forward so strong stakeholder relationship skills required
Reliable and driven to organisational change
Available references for most recent 2 year’s roles.
