Local Authority based in the South

During this extremely busy time the DPH is searching for a Consultant in Public Health to support them while they begin to move towards recover plans within the Local Authority.

You will be report into the Director of Public Health

As the Consultant in Public Health you will support the DPH with:
·Develop priorities, policies and guidelines in line with Authorities expectations
·Holding senior leadership within the council, driving improved health and wellbeing
·Emergency planning
·Health improvement programmes
·Training scheme
·Policy work
·Development with business continuity - working with other business partners
·Continued Covid-19 response support

What you will:

• Be GMC Specialist registered/ UKPHR (or submitted/ awaiting approval)
• Good interpersonal skills and be very articulate
• Ideally has demonstrable experience within a local authority or PHE setting working alongside healthcare partners
