Inside IR35 – £700 per day – full time (via umbrella)

A fantastic new opportunity for an experienced public health specialist to join a local authority for an initial 6 month interim contract with a West Midlands authority.

This interim position will be looking to fill a temporary gap within the service, leading on the health protection and intelligence porfolios for the authority. With a high performing team in place, the successful candidate will also be asked to support in other areas of public health, covering all facets of wider health determinants and health equalities.

With availability at short notice for Microsoft Teams interviews, my client are looking to review CVs ASAP with a veiew to start at the successful candidates earliest availability, between now and September 2022.

About your duties as Consultant in Public Health:

• Lead and coordinate public health expertise and knowledge into key strategies and operational operations, working closely with the Director of Public Health, NHS and external partners
• Help shape the local authorities approach to tackling health inequalities and wider health determinants
• Support the Director of Public Health in the delivery of statutory obligations of the authority for the local authorities citizens 

Your experience needed as Consultant in Public Health:

• Must hold a valid registration with UKPHR, GMC or GDC
• Available references for most recent 2 year’s roles
• Recent experience working within the public sector within public health, specifically at consultant level
