Associate Director for Children’s Complex needs commissioning and Learning Disabilities 

6-month interim contract to start WC 29th May 2023

London and Home Counties
£500-550 per day
Inside IR35 (via umbrella)
Remote/ Hybrid working

Reporting into the Executive Director for Children’s and Learning Disabilities, you will be supporting the transformation and continuous improvement of health and care across a large geographical footprint. This role will include leading direct reports to develop and commission system service redesign to support  progress in reducing health inequalities across Learning Disabilities and Children with Complex needs.

 

Your Role as Associate Director for Children’s Complex needs commissioning and Learning Disabilities:

•Take accountability for the delivery of the strategic plan and provide oversight for LD and children with complex needs commissioning development.
•Manage and maintain internal and external key relationships across multiple stakeholders.
•To accumulate and present on going project development and report on the delivery of the objectives.
Deputise to the Executive Director for Children’s and Learning Disabilities, delivering the organisations system change and improvement.
Provide visible leadership within the organisation and across the wider system.

Your previous experience as an Associate Director for Children’s Complex needs commissioning and Learning Disabilities:

•In-depth experience at a senior level within LD commissioning across a large and multi-faceted geographical footprint.
•Proven experience in leading and delivering complex programme management in a politically sensitive environment.
•The ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Can balance between operational needs of the programme and work strategical towards the outcome of the programme.
•Must demonstrate a high level of operational/strategic experience in a integrated landscape.
