Top tips for working from home

As we enter our fourth week of lockdown due to the outbreak of Covid-19, thousands of us are still muddling through daily life, with some struggling with childcare, pay and conditions whilst we work from home for the very first time. The virtual office is the new norm and there is no sign of it going anywhere over the coming months, with most of the UK population expected to work from home where possible. That being said, we have naturally seen home working figures sour to over 20million over the last month alone, in comparison to 1.7million home workers across the entire labour market in 2019.

There are a number of websites and apps that have supported us during lockdown so far (Headspace, SAM, Mind, NHS and our personal favourite; How much toilet paper). So what other ways are there to keep your spirits up and maintain efficiency whilst working remotely?
